Base salary to £32,000 and OTE is £41,000 + Car Allowance

You’ll be the face of Gigaclear, a brand ambassador and the first to meet potential new customers of ours. You will work in our communities speaking to residents each day to promote a brand new full fibre network. The main purpose of this role is to drive our customer growth by registering qualified new sales leads in the form of collecting prospect information which will provide quality data for our sales channel to close out new orders successfully.

Gigaclear are entering an exciting new period where customer growth is the main focus and challenge of the business, and this role will be pivotal to that success over the coming years.

Key Accountability & Responsibilities

  • This is a door-to-door prospecting role, and you will be visiting new potential customers houses to qualify and quantify the sales opportunity in that area.
  • You will be required to have an in-depth knowledge of Gigaclear, and the features and benefits of the products we provide (full training provided).
  • You will be the main contact point for the community area that you are working in and working to building rapport with potential customers and building the name of the brand in the local area.
  • Liaise with local delivery teams and the regional Community Engagement Manager to support with local events and event planning, all to help drive forward the Gigaclear brand.
  • You will be driving prospect registrations to help achieve the sales target, in line with the company business plan.
  • You will also be required to encourage residents to participate in the UKGV (UK Gigabit Voucher) Scheme when they are eligible to do so and work closely with the in-house administration function in order to do this.
  • Traveling is a fundamental aspect of this position. You will be expected to drive to various locations as needed. Overnight stays in hotels will be a necessary part of the role, as you will be expected to cover different areas across our network. (Please note that all hotel accommodation and travel expenses will be fully covered by Gigaclear when required)
  • As a member of the sales function, you will be responsible for driving prospecting numbers, voucher revenue and expanding our customer base. Your performance will be evaluated on a month-by-month basis along with your conversion rate, ensuring we meet our individual and team target.
  • You will be required to work independently in your designated areas on a daily basis, while also collaborating with the voucher team and various other teams at Gigaclear, including Sales & Marketing and installation team

Knowledge & Skills

Some of the key skills you will possess are:

  • Ability to build, maintain and strengthen relationships.
  • Able to use own initiative with a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Detail focused.
  • Full fibre network and fibre knowledge, the difference between Blown fibre, PIA, OH and UG and have a solid understanding and ability to see the differences between them all.

The right candidate must have a clean, full UK driving license with business insurance.
